This is the famous pub in Berrynarbor, Ye Olde Globe public house. Around the 1280 era the Globe was a
row of 3 cottages. It first became a pub in 1675. It has lime-ash floors which are well over 400 years
old. There is also a well sited underneath were the darts area now is. It is thought that it was originally
a row of 5 cottages built to house the stone masons that were building the church.

The pub changed hands in 2003. It still serves food, has well maintained gardens and has a large eating area for families.
I have eaten many a meal in here, and have known it through 3 different managements. Though way back in the late sixties
food was cornish pasties or crisps. Unlike the past 10 years where a large bar menu is available.
